“Inclusive Model of Education: Analysis of the Legislative Field” was completed with support of the International Renaissance Foundation within the framework of implementation of the “Creation of the Favorable Informational Environment for Further Development of Inclusive Model of Education in Ukraine” Project.
The manual highlights specifics of inclusive education as one of the aspects of human rights, general approaches to education of people with special needs, experience of different countries. It also reveals ways to how it is possible to manage policy development and practical activity in the field of inclusive education and how to support development of inclusive education system.
This manual for the first time analyzes Ukrainian legislation in the field of general education and correspondence to international documents in the field of human rights and international experience in the field of implementation of main mechanisms of inclusive education.
The manual is addressed to parliamentarians, politicians, oblast/city/regional council politicians, managers in the field of education, pedagogical scientists, representatives of parent and other non-governmental organizations.
